We had an early dinner so had the restaurant entirely to ourselves. The owner allowed us to come in early and waited on us himself. Food was extraordinary and plentiful.

Wonderful host and great food. My husband and I had meals twice at this lovely restaurant last year. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed it. We will have a stopover at FCO this May. We plan to visit again! Can’t wait!

We arrived early in Rome and couldn’t pickup our rental car, so we decided to check out Fiumicino and picked La Taverna Vecchia because of its seafood reviews. The family welcomed us, despite being closed in preparation for dinner, allowing us to sit on their spacious outdoor patio. We enjoyed a lovely dinner — cacio e pepe and seafood risotto — and the matron of the restaurant kindly helped us return to the airport. Absolutely lovely service. Thank you!

Despite my lack Of Italian and the waiters limited English we managed to google translate the best meal in Italy yet. Can highly recommend the seafood and deserts.

Last meal for us in Rome, and happened to be the best meal we had in Italy. Great seafood dishes, tender fish and shellfish, super fresh and well-seasoned. The salmon is one we'll keep talking about once we get back home.The owner Andrea is kind and hospitable, despite the language barrier (menu has an English version). Will come back for sure!
